no wheels for you. If you don't lower the car it's pointless to get wheels. It's like wearing a tux with tennishoes, looks odd and I think it actually makes the car look worse than stock

Fonzy - I was afraid of that. Thats the last thing I want to do is make it look like im a jeep or somethin! I was gonna put bigger rims smaller tires and hope to decrease the air gap in the wheel well I have now (stock) but if it looks like crap then ill get some lowering springs...Suggestions for how to lower would be great too - biggest concern is loosing any ride quality... DF210s perhaps? I DO have to drive over 2 speed bumps just to get to my house every effin day (I curse them every time too!) plus there are several at work, and even in most parking lots that I frequent...so i would like to keep my oil pan if possible!

DFs are good springs and a lot of people here have them on their car, but they are really low. I would get DFs or NFs if you don't want to go as low as DFs. Search around, there are plenty of members that have posted pics of their cars with DFs.

Here are a few pics of the the member that bought my DFs, it a great looking GS

Fonzy...Can you elaborate a little better?
I would get DFs or NFs if you don't want to go as low as DFs.??? What should I get if I use it as a regular driver who frequently has to hit speed bumps - and doesnt want to sacrifice too much ride quality...

DFs are more sporty with a stiffer spring rate and the drop is 1.8" front and 1.3" rear. NFs are more towards the comfort side and give a 1.5" front and 1" rear. It is up to you on what you think will work best for you.

I've got the L-Sportlines in chrome on my black GS and I love them, those would look great on your dark blue IMO. The only drawback is the offsets aren't very aggressive; I'll probably end up with spacers somewhere down the line but they don't look bad right now. There's no rubbing as is, no need to modify fenders.

I'm on DF210's too and the drop is perfect for me, virtually no fender gap and I'm still able to go over speed bumps and inclines without scraping, just gotta be slow and careful but nothing ridiculous.

I wish I had some pictures for you but I had a run-in with a raccoon on the highway that f'ed up my front bumper before I could get a photoshoot in.

I see you liked some of those links I gave you huh? Lol....I think all the wheels have their own look but I would go with #1 or #2. #2 is a little more sporty but in your case I think #1 would look really good on a Midnight Blue car. You will want a drop but just pic up a set of mild drop springs from the classifieds for $150 or so and you will be fine.

Yes I did macd...See what you started!
Kyle - what do you mean by spacers - if they dont rub or anything then would you need spacers for?
The 20" HHR in pic one - Ive always "assumed" they were the rims on the front pics/Lexus, not the 350 in the rear, thats a good assumption right?

He is saying that if you got the L-Sportlines the offsets on them isn't very aggressive so you would want to buy spacers to "push" the wheel further out towards the outside of the car so they are more flush with the fenders.

The 20" HHR are the ones in the front of the pictures as you assumed (As well as the fact I think they would lok hot. on your car)

See man, aren't you glad you came here! We saved you from spending your money on some "ok" wheels when you can have some bad *** wheels for the same price!

BTW:

Feast your eyes Here and Here

Those wheels have that convex thing goin on so they look CRAZY when they are rollin on the highway.

Exactly, 10 or 15 mm spacers would put them more "flush" with the fenders as is the look these days. You'd need longer bolts to do this as these wheels wouldn't work with the spacers that install on the stock bolts with a second set of bolts to mount the wheels to. I may do this next spring, I've got other things on my plate right now.
