Don't forget these 18's.... Here's my car with the 07' GS430 stockers. I actually just put some 20's on today-- and they're chrome. Let's see how bad my gas mileage is affected.

it is so funny to me that the big rim bubble is starting to burst and a lot of people are talking about smaller rims now.. if i had it to do all over i would have done some ultra lightweight 18's probably like 18x10 in the rear with a fat lip.

i had my car dynoed the other day with my heavy *** rims and it was 250 rwhp and i know with some lightweight 18's or even stock wheels would put it at about 270... i have thought about putting my heavy *** rims on a newer sedan and putting some smaller lighter wheels on the gs but that would be much more loot. i do notice about 30-50 extra miles a tank in the winter time when i put the stock wheels back on. such a waste to look so pretty, isn't it...??

so i just did some research and found that my rear rims weigh in at 32.3 lbs and my tires weigh in at 31 lbs.. that is a total of 63.3 lbs in the rear... someone said the stock wheel is 26 lbs i wonder what the stock tire + wheel weight is, please let me know if anyone knows this info????

so instead of dropping weight to make it faster i have in fact added weight, hmmmm.

yea I had the stock 17's and with my SRT intake and exhaust I was at right abouut 20-21 mpg now i'll be lucky to get 16.5... another thing everyone has to remember is that I want to downsize MAINLY because of performance... gas is just a plus... so thats why I want to go 18x11 in the back...

i agree completely... but the only reason I got these 20's is cuz it was a deal I could not have passed up... I mean seriously I would have been stupid not to get em... like i said in a earlier post they had a new M5 in a magazine and with the 21" wheels it equated to a loss of 20 hp at the wheels

:i went from 19 volk wheels " to 20" iforged to 18x8" to kazera..they were 20lbs per wheel or so not bad for a non forged wheel... i still have my 20" in the garage but after i put the 18" on all 235 tires all the way i could tell my car was faster, ligther and i was getting .
around 20 mpg city and highway driving. Regularly get 25-26 in the highway i couldnt be happier yes my car looks ****tier but when i beat a new maxima or a punk BMW i couldnt be more happier.

Yea thats is exacty what I am going for... I know they 18 are gonna look funny that's why I want to get the extreme deepest lip on the most extreme widest wheel possible...

I just saw this thread. I may throw my TE37s in 18x9.5 and 18x10.5 on my GS. I'll take a pic when I get around to it.
