OEM center cap question
i just bought a set of 01 GS 17" 5 spoke rims and it came with these same center caps, are these OEM..

Those are some ugly logos.... your wheels may be legit... but those center caps aren't. Maybe the previous owner thought these looked cooler. OEM wheels should have a two stamps on the wheel I beleve. TUV and JWL or something like that?
The caps are definitely not factory. If you are trying to verify if the wheels themselves are factory, you should see TOYOTA cast in the wheel in raised letters inside one of the spokes on the back side of the wheel. Its easy to see, all caps, probably about 1.5 inches long. There are some replicas out there which look just like the factory wheels.

i know someone that a has 2000 LS that he bought brand new and his OEM/stock rims have those wierd looking gold 'L' on his center cap. i wondered the same thing if it came that way or if the dealer put them on.

i wonder if the are some kind of replica center caps that are suppose to be cheaper than the gold OEM 'L', im also a member on a cadillac forum and theres a few owners on there that have these center caps with a gold cadillac logo on it but if you look at it closely its not exactly like the cadillac logo its slightly different.
