Default Tweaking Auto-dimming feature?

hi everyone

my car has this feature, but after getting my window tinted all around. it is not kicking in. has anyone or know how to tweak the photocell on the rearview mirros to where i can have it on and off, rather than auto. it would help alot vs those HID cars and high beam idiots.

Thanks

wow how dark are the tints? i have 40's in rear and 20 up front and when cars in the back have their highs on my auto dimmer still kicks in. only downside is dimmer + tint it looks greenish purple which i do not like so i shut it off anyway.

well the thing is i have mirror blue tint in the back, they are not dark at all. Just hint of blue and mirror effect. the side are just light blue. i think its the mirror effect from the back that is blocking the light from hitting the car cabin and the with that the rearview meirror photocell. my problem is the side morrors picking up headlamps from other car. i want that purple tint look!
