MAF 400 vs 430

hey guys, just wondering if an MAF from a 430 will work with a 400 motor. From looking around the internet the plugs look the same.

My dumbass just picked up a used intake but for a 430.

I understand they're different, I'm just wondering if the electronics portion will plug in and function.

only one way to find out, the supra guys use the LS maf.

Completely different. I ordered a MAF for my GS430 once, and by a mistake the dealer shipped one for GS400. It was a completely different unit, that would fit the intake or the plug. The dealer then shipped me a replacement unit for GS430, free of charge of course, and I sold the GS400 MAF to one of CL members

1990-1994 LS400 MAF fits MK3 turbo supra only. Its actually 25% larger, so by replacing the MAF and installing injectors with 25% higher flow, they are able to have 25% higher AF ratio without messing with ECU.
