I still love the styling of our 2nd gen over the 3rd gen....ours has a more classic appeal to me. Yes, gas prices are going crazy, but it got to the point i couldnt afford the gas, I'd just look to buying an old beater Tercel or Civic for under $2k. The cost of the 3rd gen is out of my league, so Id rather put a little extra money into keeping my 2nd gen running and looking good, get a bucket for commuting if needed, and payoff my GS now so I dont have to worry about a car payment

yeah no doubt, i think like a few peeps already said, the 3rd gen one looks more like an infiniti m or a nissan maxima so i'm gonna wait for the 4th gen or pick up that new ls by that time they should have come down a little in price so i may be able to afford a monthly payment at that time.

this guy i have talked to at a dealership out this way told me a lot of people think the 2nd gen had much better styling (german inspired), and not so much for the new gen. that new ls is basically like a bigger and better 2nd gen gs in my eyes, to bad it costs a gwap right now. maybe when it hits 35-40K i can figure out something but i think they're around 55-60K right now???

If I were to get rid of the GS, I would be looking into an LS430ul. I like the 3GS, however it doesn't move me like the 2GS does. I would rather step up to the LS430ul, throw wheels on it, slam it, and not have any payments.

No payments on a 2GS>3GS.

i know we're supposed to be talking about gs's here but i would like to say that being a vip fanatic i was stuck on the ls430 for like the last 5 years, but now i think i would like to step up my dreams at least and aim for the ls 460: rims (5K), kit (4K), suspension(2k), custom paint job(5k), stereo(6k), tint + chrome exhaust tips n grill (1k), (=23K in mods + car 55K = about 80K total...yikes) and i think that would just about get the job done for me...
