I'm with Bit, 17/18 would be a waste. 18/18 or higher is the way to go. Personally, I wouldn't do anything less than 19" on a GS, but that's just me.

As for the "raked" look, you can EASILY get that look with coilovers. I currently have that (not intentionally) look but as soon as I get my new rear springs from H&R ("it's in the mail"), I'm going to lower the back about another 0.5" or 0.75"...

Do Coilovers make the car ride at all stiffer then the stock setup? if so, is it a big difference? Because I live in michigan and I have to take advantage of smoother riding setup, We have very bad roads and it would drive me nuts all the time hitting the bumps

not sure how this contributes to the questions to the thread, but i believe the car in the photo belongs to 'gswatkins', and have not seen him on CL in a while,

Heck yes. The Tein-CS is supposed to be more comfortable than something like Tein-HA, but all coilovers will be considerably stiffer than stock.

The L-Tuned setup reduces float/oscillations with almost no difference in ride quality. It will lower your ride 1" though so you have to be a bit more careful on speed bumps and parking 'blocks'.
