Wanting to purchase an intake soon for my 2000 GS300 and was just wandering is there a DIY for this

When you buy a well-known brand of intake, they'll include a detailed instruction for you

Yep ^^^

Besides, it is very easy to do. Just remove the bolts for the stock air box, MAF, vacuum lines, etc and install the intake tube and reattach everything. Then pop on the filter, tighten it down and your all set.

*Note, the Injen intake comes with a manifold cover (heatshield that goes over the header). All this requires to install is to tighten down the heatshield with existing bolts.
