Heat/AC Question
Has anyone ever noticed that, under certain conditions, the air coming out of the dash vents is much colder on the driver's side than on the passenger side, even though the dual climate control is turned off? I've noticed this several times, but I'm not sure if that's the way it's supposed to be or if there's something wrong with my system. Last week when it was in the 70's here in DC (it's colder than a witches thorax today!), the air coming out of my vents was air conditioner temperature, while the air coming out on the passenger side was much warmer and had heat mixed in with it. I checked, and the dual control was off and both sides were set at 72 degrees.
Is this the way the system works - cools one side and heats the other - or is there something wrong with my car?
Thanks!!
