im the newbee here from queens ny. here's a pic of my 98 gs4. i did some mods... lsports line kit with blitz grill. I installed 2001 gs taillights. i had some 20' chrome deep dish rims but i hit a huge *** pot hole (nyc has alot of) and bent them so i got some lexus spider rims and they r very smooth. I installed tv's in the headrest and on visors total of 4. Added custom box with 2 L7's kicker with amp and tweeter on the back passenger door for some highs. sounds sick!
Nice ride man...love that kit! I know this is a long shot but I think I may have met you last fall at Lakeland car wash in Bohemia, NY. Maybe not...but I met some guy there who had the same car with the same kit and wheels and mentioned he was from Queens. He was NOT a CL member at the time either. I remember I asked if he would think about selling his kit to me because I really wanted it and it is hard to come by...lol Welcome!
Sorry dude that was not me LOL. I'm sure u can buy this kit online if u really search for it. I love the fact that this kit is not fiberglass and it fits perfectly like oem.
I don't let that bother me lol. I run 40-42psi to minimize damage. And 'IF' I do happen to damage a wheel, there's a local wheel shop that will fix my wheels for $100. I'm more concerned about busting up my body kit since that usually costs a good $400-500 to fix per incident lol.
NY streets are far different from the streets here in Dallas Jeff. Being a Bronx native, I can tell you.. Dallas streets are heaven compaired to NY! I cant tell you how many blown struts and bent rims I used to get back in the day.
nyc pot holes...................................... gas @ $4 a gallon with 10% ethenol...... I finally realize how come no matter how easy im on the pedal or harsh on it 16 mpg is the highest i'd ever acheive thanks to ethenol!!! need to get out of NYC. nice ride!
yea ny has a high cost of living more now cuz it seems like cost of everything is getting higher and higher but I love the NYC nightlife. Like they say its the city that never sleeps. I can go hit the clubs on the weekend party till 8am then go hit up an afterhours club till noon. Ofcourse u need some illegal substance to help u stay up . I'm just enjoying it now when I can.
