I like the style of the rims themselves more than pretty much anything else I've seen. They make wheels in 1000's of styles for a reason...There are many one here that have rims on their GS's that I think are horrible.
The fact that they are a budget rim works for me as well, I only want them for appearance.
So it looks like these are the rims I will be going with.
BUT I am open to suggestions on the tires.
The sizes I will be going with are:
Front Size: 245/35/19
Rear Size: 275/30/19
The options I will be choosing are from the following:

NANKANG NSII (the cheapest option)

HANKOOK VENTUS SPORT K104 (second cheapest 1st choice, good reviews from what I have seen)

kumho ECSTA SPT (had Kumho in the past and were ok)

TOYO PROXES 4 (probably the best tire, but only avaliable in 265's for the rear)

Please don't recommend tires that you personally haven't owned or had experience with. I don't really need to hear how some dealer down in Texas can do it slightly cheaper unless your going to give out contact information. The rims alone are around $750 from this place, INCLUDING shipping to Canada, if you guy wants to match that give me his contact info.
Also please select from the above, there maybe better tires out there but there is always "something better" out there, this is what fits my budget. Keep in mind these are going to be used for commute only, nothing else.

Also a quick note it looks like that the wheels have an offset of 40+ will that work fine?
The vendor has a free return poilcy if it doesn't fit well.
Stats from the MSR page:
19x8.5 Super Finish Silver 5 on 4.5(114.3) +40 mm
19x10 Super Finish Silver 5 on 4.5 (5x114.3) +40 mm
BTW the car is not lowered and I have no intention to do so soon, if I every lower the GS it will only be a very slight loweing job. 1-1.5 inches

It's funny, back in 1991 I bought Racing Sparco RR 15x7 with Toyo 195/50-15600 F-1s... total out the door was $1550. That was for 15s.

Now $1500 is too much for 19s? I give up!

I've now had the rims on the car for a couple of weeks. They look great, fittament is awsome and the drive is perfect. Tires are great, ample traction quiet, etc...
I would give Wheels Next and the MSR 088 combo with Hankook 104's a solid recommendation. Price performance and fit all around I'm really happy.
Pics to follow as soon as I get my new cross drilled brakes on.

Haven't had a chance to clean them up, or take some more pics but this is them unwashed for about 2 weeks.
Look pretty sweet (although the car needs to be lowered) recommend this setup for "best bang for the buck". Some friends commented on is how they are prefectly flush with the fenders front and rear, soon as I lower the car it will look sweet.

I love the style of the rims, nice and clean, almost factoryish, less flash than my current chrome rims.
Any pics lying around?
Is there any other brands that you could recommend with a similar style and price?

aristo: He already has the wheels/tires mounted on the car. They don't look too bad. The black center cap is better looking too.

I like the look of these wheels. Especially if the price is right. I have a fella offering a set of these with tires for $300. No curb rash, but the rear tires are only about 25%. Fronts are 80%. Just need to be cleaned up.

Good deal?

By the way OP...would love to see pictures of your entire car with the wheels on.
