Never recall seeing that brand before when I did mine. Sorry that your DIY project turned out bad. This is the first I've heard of this happening.

I didn't use any kind of thinner/stripper on mine, i just went after it with an SOS pad and it came out pretty damn well. Sorry to hear.

Im gonna try this out on a used grille i got from a junk yard just incase things go bad i still have my original.
