1st. Limited Slip Differential with Lower gears.. 3.76 to 4.11 (Wouldn't mind AWD)
2nd. Double pained glass to reduce wind noise
3rd. Projectors for the HID
4th. TTE Lip
5th. Bigger and Longer lasting brake rotors and pads
6th. Get rid of the Drive by wire... i hate the delay my 430 has, but love the endless pull when getting on the freeway...
7th. Blinkers or sidemarkers in or on the mirrors.
8th. Forged connecting rods and pistons to go along with the factory forged crank and 6 bolt main would be perfect for forced induction.... 400 horsepower....
Other than that, i couldn't complain... HAHAHA

Projectors for the HID would have been straight. The tails on the 01-05 should have been a clear turn signal instead of orange.

-Projector for HID (how does the ES which is a cheaper class than the GS have double projectors but we have none?)

-Suspension at least 1" lower from factory

-E-Shift buttons on wooden steering wheel for GS430

-2 10" subs in rear deck instead of one

I would leave everything the same but like someone said I wish they would have done the NA GS3 and a TTGS3 like in Japan.

"Pull" door handles instead of traditional "pull-up" ones. I loved these on my old '92 Acura Legend!!!

Everyone is making very good suggestions. I am totally satisfied with my 2GS, but if I could have changed one exterior characteristic from factory, it would be more aggressive fenders. Fenders with a minor flare to them, like bimmers, hell even civics have them.

I wouldnt change a thing. Takes the fun out of modding. All those mods you guys listed would have added thousands to the price tag. The Lexus brand is marketed on "affordable and sensible" luxury. But then again this is a hypothetical.

I would have them change the balljoints and door lock actuators!

The exterior is beautiful, so leave I would leave that. Factory related items that should of been improved:

1. Steering feedback

2. Suspension geometry including aluminum suspension components and stronger ball joints. True sport package as an option for driving purists.

3. Better front buckets to hold the driver in place during spirited driving.

4. Brake hardware and pedal effort.

5. Available LSD.

6. Improved NVH

All of you are describing the IS... so, IS F is the one at 2008.

In years before, GS was good. I would like to have straight shift changer in the center console instead of manual in the steering wheel, with posi in the rear.
Better ball joints and a starter relocation.
The bubble front...seen from the side,... definitely...blow out.

Maybe add some type of "security" tie on the lower ball joints??

<- lower ball joint just jacked up front quarter panel, wheel, abs sensor, etc
