I've replaced my wipers twice in the past 6 months or so because of poor performance. The replacements have provided some improvement, but they just don't wipe the way they used to. I asked a Lexus parts guy about springs, and he said there were none. How can I get the wipers to tighten up against the windshield if there's no springs to replace?

 

did you replace just the rubber wipers or the metal arms that they come with?
