When you look at the car in person you start to see how bad it is. This was a solid hit on the frame on one side of the car. It did damage on the whole drivers side all the way past the fire wall. The dash sits an inch lower on the driver side. Its no match when you go head on with a suv in a unibody car at a combined speed of at least 45mph. When she hit me my car got pushed back about 5 feet and into a curb.
Don't plan on parting anything out. Got all my electronics out last night and am leaving the wheels most likely. Two of them got damaged. Not worth the time to mess with it. May look into another SC. Too many choices out there.
The only thing I will end up selling are the new winter tires I have on my spare set of wheels and a 12" sub baffle.
No one got hurt and I have to say the GS is a pretty solid car. It sucks but these things happen.
I say "pretty solid" could be bit of an understatement. Flat out solid is what this car is. Unfortunate as it was for my car, I came out this clean and it's great you did the same.
