Quote: That's what I was thinking. I'll have to get a bunch of soft bristle brushes to get every little nook and cranny. Good thing I know someone who works at Oral-B and can give me bucketloads of new toothbrushes...
I asked my wife today about soap and leather and she said, "Duh, don't you know that. You should use Ivory soap! See, you never listen to anything I say!"

But I forgot to ask her if I should use Ivory DISH or HAND soap.... Liquid or bar?
I used woolite on my tan seats with a soft brush (not really)...it cleaned the heck out of my tan leather seat in my LS400. I mean, I sprayed the woolite and immediately brushed it and you could see all the dirt floating around. I then wiped off the excess with a clean damp cloth. After I was done I used the Lexus leather conditioner to make sure the leather wasn't dried up...the seat now looks amazingly clean!!! Try it!

Lexol cleaner & conditioner package will do a great job quelling the dirt and cracks on your leather seats. It leaves a non-shiny luster to the leather, and will make it smell like leather should No crazy cracks or dirt(I know its black) on my leather after years of use.

I can't really tell much from the photos, but I believe you. Nice work!

For the nooks and crannies I use a soft toothbrush. It takes a while...
I actually use this method to get the little dirt marks out of the grain.

Once you get it clean, use some light conditioner - the heavy greasy stuff
just seems oily and attracts new dirt that much faster. I go over mine
monthly with Lexol leather cleaning wipes. These come in a plastic can
and you can just tear out a sheet at a time and toss them when they're
dirty. If you stay on top of the seats (cleaning), they'll never look dirty again!

Okay, some updated pictures.
I have not gone back and really gotten busy on the seats again so maybe this weekend I will get a chance but here are some better pictures of the results from the first post.

This was NASTY!

What I used to think was dirt on that lower part is actually the leather worn away over the years. LOL..

Wow, I woulda never thought of using soap, and would have never dared to use softscrub, but now after seeing the pictures I might reconsider . I've been using the Lexus Leather Cleaner & Conditioner for the past 6 months now and the seats look decent but not perfect like I'd like .

Give it a try...you got nothing to lose. Soap up the seat and use a damp (not soaking wet) wash cloth to scrub. Then wipe off with a fresh damp wash cloth and follow up with conditioner. I'll never buy another leather cleaner product again.
