not loooking that bad on the spectra...

simply put...i wudnt do it.

if you're really serious about painting it but are kinda undecided, you could borrow a trick from the 350z/G35 guys and get some black vinyl installed on the roof (2 pieces most of the time) to give you an idea of how it would look. not super cheap (~$120ish or less) but better than painting it and finding out you dont like the way it looks.
