$4200 for the kit and $3500 for the OEM parts.. not including the side markers. Who knows what the labor would be. lol! I think i'll pass. I could get another GS for that.

the previous pics posted at the car show were ok

but after looking at these ones
id have to say no to it

proportion and the gradients of the hood just looks too odd on a 2GS

for me, its either a 3GS or a 2GS, none of this mutant half-a** monster thats starting to become a Honda Accord...

The term 'Ballin on a budget' is an oxymoron. Either you got it like that or u dont.

It's a great promo car for Vertex and will have people talking...they should leave it at that.

I don't like it either... Too expensive, and still has the GS body in the rear bumper in the rear wheel.

I assumed you were a little more down to earth from a lot of your otehr posts. I would not get the kit because I want a 3rd gen, Id get the kit, because I think the comination of the two cars flows extremely well together. I can see your arguement on trying to pose, but not completely knowcking the idea.

I like it personally. I wouldn't get rid of my Gs that makes 450+ whp to buy a 3gs, that would be ridiculous. I was actually going to be getting my front end resprayed to freshen things up but I might go this route depending on the reply I get from vertex. Either way, everyone has their own opinion but I think it looks good.

Emerald, I like the car in your sig, which I assume is yours, but the Vertex 2gs kit has a very very similar front fascia to your car except for the headlights so I assume it's not the style of the bumper that you don't like. I think the headlights look nice, so many people want to do projector retro's and this address that problem as well. Not knocking your style in any way, just trying to see it from the other persons point of view as exactly what it is you don't like.

i think it fits the flow of the car like golfkid said...some of the new gs dont flow as good but its all in what one wants...i dont think its posing in any way shape or form. I say its posing when someone take a honda civic and try to do a front end conversion to a skyline yuckkkkkkkk

I agree, no one calls it rice when people do a true jdm type-R conversion on their integra cuz it looks tight and it's keeping it in the Honda family, I think the 3 Gs conversion looks tight and it's not like taking a Bmw 3-series front and sticking it on your Gs.

JDM conversions are another matter, that is still converting from same car in one region to the same car in another region
all in all its the same car

but this isnt the same car
2GS and 3GS arent the same at all
its like putting a cat's head on a lion's body

or jeremy clarkson's head on richard hammond's body
it just aint right
