Red face Help break upgrade.

Last couple of months my car would always shake when breaking from 60mph and the wheel would shake even when the car is moving and the problem is getting worse. I think the rotors need to be replaced. I am looking for an inexpensive break upgrade something thats better then stock but nothing too crazy. Please point me in the right direction.

Or you can go for the Supra Turbo Brake Upgrade package (STBU?) I think it's only like $700 or so...cheap for better braking!

Get a new set of stock rotors and upgrade your pads. I recommend Endless pads

Get the supra TT front brakes, that is what I'm going to be doing soon, (17" wheels required to fit)... http://www.suprastore.com sells them for $980 they would look really cool on your GS, that is becasue the Rotors are "13.5 (Front), and most important it saids Supra ....they are direct bolt on........as I always recomend if you with in a budget go to the jusk yark and pick a nice set (if you have time) here in L.A THE USED PARTS CAPITAL OF THE WORLD....there are many TT SUPAs that are wrecked........

I was going to upgrade to supraTT brake or the TRD w/ cliper.. after talking with Steve, I am just going for Rotors and pad upgrade. Reason: Not only you need the rims to clear, you also need a good off set on the rims to clear the clipers. I have the 17" L-Tuned tires for the winter. They will not clear the clipers.. cause the off set is not enough.

suggestion to all CL member where snow tires in the winter.. forget the cliper upgrade.. unless you have two sets of rims for winter and summer..

They will fit the 17" wheel.. however, the rims itself will need to have a big offset the clear the bulkiness of the new clipper.. unless you got know the offset off the rims, you are risking it not able to work.

Is that your rim? I think that'a 20" HRE 543, right? And you ordered it with Supra fitment? Looks AWESOME.
