Hello guys my car wont start up. When I turn the key it just clicks...I do get light and my nav and everything lights up...anybody got an idea of what it could be....i havent tried jumping it off yet might it be the starter or altenator?

 

usually the imfamous click points to a faulty starter. Luckily you can rebuild your starter. If you are handy with tools, definitely take advantage of the situation and rebuild the starter. The necessary part is $23 from the dealer.

But try to jump start first. It could be the battery. If not, consider looking into the starter.

 

if u gettin full lights ac radio ect and a clickin sound .. its most likely starter

 

Starter. Buy a quality re-man'd unit and take it to your mechanic of choice. The stealer will try to give you a re-man and not mention its not a new unit. There's a bunch of threads on this for a DIY.
