its not bad at all. You couldve also used the red tape from ebay to cover up the orange. i have that and it blends with the rest of my taillights perfect.

I like 'em BUT....

How do you plan on passing inspection?

Unless of course they're for show only in which case to you for being different. But if you have to get another set of taillights to pass, or just for regular driving so you don't get pulled over with a nice ticket, why not just save up and get some JP's or the $500 Clear LED ones? just my .02

i shouldnt be getting pulled over while driving bc its only the reverse lights that are blocked. the reflectors in the housing still reflects also. As for state inspection, I usually dont get hassled with my mods but tails are the least of my worries since I do have my windshield tinted as well. (go ahead, ream me out for that too)
