Hi,

I won the clear sidemarkers on an Ebay auction recently for my GS300, and I cant figure out how to get them on. I know this sounds lame, but I tried just popping them off, also going through the hood. I figured taking off the inner wheel-well "skin" or removing the plastic piece under the front of the fender. If anyone has done this, what worked for you?? Thanks in advance for your help

Merry Christmas

IROCHOTROD,

Popping them out will be difficult as there are two nuts holding each side bumper marker on.

First turn your steering wheel all the way to gain the maximum access in the tire well. You have to remove three screws to allow you to allow the plastic well cover to flex enough for you to get access to the backside of the side marker.

There is a single screw at mid well height and two on bottom of bumper. Taking these off will allow you to pull back this plastic piece so that you can get your hand (and a ratchet) in the backside of the lamp.

Take off 2 nuts for each light and the light will just pop out. Rotate the light bulb holder within the assembly to remove the light off of the car. Replace the bulb with something of your liking as well as the light itself and put everything back together.

That's all there is to it! Pretty easy you'll see!

Good luck and feel free to ask questions if you need more help!
