Default G-Force

Can someone tell me something about Gs.

My RSM can test/sense L/R lateral Gs and F/R acceleration Gs. What do they mean? How can I actually test it? What's a good number for lateral G?

thanks!

R/L later G's is like turning ability, stock a GS does about 0.78 for the GS3 (i think im wrong just a basic number please dont flame me) and i think Mkility got his GS up to 1.00G's.

Its the sideways pressure pushing on your car in a turn, 1.00G means you having the gravity equivilant pushing down on you from on top, as sideways, if u way 300 (rays a fat ***!) haha jks man then theres 300 pushing down on you and 300 pushing sideways on you, see?

same t hing with f/r G's but thats just for accel and braking

brakes a good number is probobly around 1.0G cause i've seen .91 in a stock accord, and accel i dunno i haven't been in super fast cars with my Gtech before

thanks for the write up.

How do you really test G to get the best result? Drive fast and swerve? Or how?

well there are two types

A) Continues G-Force, you must keep the same G-force for 3 seconds.. for example what you would do here is go in small circles on the limit of the tire, just go in circles and press a little gas you will hear the tires whineing that means you are on your maxiumum grip right so just hold it for 3 seconds

B) Instentaneous G-Force, the G-force at one exact moment so just go 60MPH and just turn the wheel and something nuts will happen and ur RSM will read it, this isnt very accurate because its just what you car does at one second and most likely if you pushed to hard you car would loose control past the point.

Continues G is better because thats what is most accurate for what your car can really do undercontrol.

maybe for accel or brake instentaneous is ok

OK i see how it is.
I've been doing instantaneous G for a few times. i got 0.85 or something. Maybe even better if I can try at some open space I guess...
