Default How to turn off ECT light.

I usually drive with the ECT switch on, but then there's that silly green light on the dash. To me, it's getting annoying, and I would like to disable the green light. Can I simply pull the bulb out behind the gauge bezel? How does the bezel come off? I assume you just pull?

yep,
just pull the bezel out and then there are four screws to remove to get the guage cluster out(you will see that clearly) and then unscrew the bulb.
should take about 5 mins to get it done and put all back in place.
good luck

olddog - Thanks, you are the man. I actually ended up removing the bezel, and just putting a small square of black electrical tape over the ECT light, so I didn't need to remove the instrument cluster, or the bulb. Since there's a smoke lense on the bezel, you can't see the tape. Took less than 5 minutes.
