I got a Gs 300 w/o the moonroof and leather, but i did plan on ripping out the interior anyway so... no big deal there. I did the group buy for the leather seats and installed it myself. The moonroof i miss but i got a killer deal on the car. 40k miles for less than $20k, pristine paint and interior. Check out my gallery, I even posted pics of the conversion from cloth to leather. I still have the cloth seats if someone wants them. They were nice and warm in the winter kinda hot in the summer. Still a great car!

I got the car w/o leather seat, sunroof and CD changer.
The good is my car is longer the regular gs. I compared to GSteg(400) and Tony121(300) My car is about 6-10 inchs longer.
So, I called that GS300L heheh J/K

so if you were in an accident, they would have to modify the panels 6"-10" to fit your GS

I believe these were a special order back then. It was cheaper since its basically a base model. Not too many of them around.

If you call/email Lexus customer service and provide VIN # or equipment on car, they can tell you exactly how many units were manufactured that year in total and how many came equipped the way yours is. Then you will know precisely how rare or unusual it really is. I did this for the RX I bought in January for my daughter and discovered it was 1 of 749 units out of almost 74,000 equipped with Nav/AWD/Coach Edition. So, only 1% of 2002 had similar equipment.

Today,
I parked next to another gs300 and sorry to say but.......

The length is exactly the same as the normal(sunroof/leather) GS's.

Also, I "might" trade my seats for leathers if anyones interested. However, the leather has to be in excellent condition and gray.
If that sounds like you, Please pm me. Oh and if you are local, it would be a mad ++++
