Very nice so far. I've been wanting to tinker arond with fiberglass and kittyhair and such. I take it you know a thing or two about the processes? Can you point me in the right direction to get a start on these as far as materials and things alike?

This is only the second time for me, so I would hardly call my self a fiberglass master. Below is a link to help you get started. Building the boxes is really time consuming and can be frustrating at times, so just remember to relax and have fun with it.

Note: I will have to postpone the progress of this project til next week some time. My dad is being deployed to Iraq soon, so I am gong to go visit him in Atlanta this weekend.

Looks good for your 2nd try! Next time maybe, I would recommend stretching the material a little tighter. Also when you do 2 sub enclosures like that, its nice to try to get them identical because they're sitting on the opposite sides. If not, they just look like you wrapped some enclosures randomly. Not a lot of people will just dive into fiberglass and do it like you did. Its a messy job as I'm sure you've experienced! now time for some serious grinding!! be sure to grind out any air pockets because they will be a problem later down the line.

pretty soon you WILL be a master and all your friends will be beating down your door...

Default Finally Complete!!!

*Clearing throat…*

I would like to take this time to unofficially unveil the custom trunk fabrication that I have working on lately. The design is finally put together and secured in the vehicle. Take a look at how it came out. Hopefully I will be able to find the time to build the amp rack, which will be secured in the spare tire wheel well, and hook up the amps, cap, components, and subs in the up coming weekends. Till next, enjoy the pics.
