That looks like the new ES300 wanna be GS. I certainly hope that wouldn't be the look of next gen of GS.

Default Strange

Does the photo look doctored to anyone? It doesn't to me...and it's strange that it was on the carconnections website. I won't be suprised if this was the new GS, it defintely appears to have the "new" styling cues of Lexus. If this is it....at least it kept the quad lightining....

Default all it needs...

I think, that first of all.. this color isnt the best for this car. How about if this was Pearl White, had a nice rear spolier, and some 17" chromes from the factory.. now woudnt that make it look just a bit nicer?

The rim looks like the Camry one.

In answer to whoever asked if that pic looked photochopped, i think YES. Like Racing Aristo said, those rims definitely look out of place and are straight from the new Camry. Foglight area looks a little distorted.

I HOPE that isn't the new GS, cause they REALLY screwed up the quad light design and the body looks suspiciously like that of the ES...

that is a photoshop picture, it looks like it has these parts on it:

1. es300 body
2. gs grill
3. gs high beam lights
4. MR-S headlights
5. camry wheels
6. LS430 foglights

Did you guys notice how "high" the GS400 sits? It needs the coilover to drop 3" to make it right!

This is without question a "photo-crop" job. And if it even came close to the next GS, we would all be in good shape w/ what we have! From all of my sources, (from local to corporate level) we can pretty much rest assured that no "significant" changes will take place until spring/summer 2003 as a 2004 model! But, do look for a possible minor face-lift before that............
