Time 2 Do Timing Belt Gs400!!!!
#19
if the cam seals aren’t leaking when you change your timing belt you still need to change them every time you do the tbelt, what if you change the tbelt and the cam seals look fine then one month later they start to leak ? you just never know.

don’t forget to change the cam seals, may not leak now but will in maybe 1 month or one year and if it does leak it will take out your alternator, so best to change now.

when doing the W-pump & T-belt, the only other parts that should get replace are the ones that need to be replaced. not all these parts go bad at 90K some before, but many never.
if your window on the drivers side door had a crack. would you replace the glass, window rails, motor, switch, wire harness ect...

ok and, does it really matter? Mods should lock old post so people can't respond you would think. Most of the post for a older car are old anyways. But as long as people continue to buy and keep gen 2 gs's they will ask questions. And even if you do search there are dead links and new and improved ways of doing things. If I was a mod my first response would not be .. ...Use the search.

An ignoramus post smdh. Allow me to elucidate my post since you're lacking in reading comprehension skills. I wasn't answering a question posted 12 years ago, I was responding to a poster that bumped a 12 year old thread, then agreed with HIS assessment. Would you like to add anything else "funny" man?
