The Red AF 2GS just did a custom wide body. As far as kits, I don't think anyone has made an off the shelf wide body kit for our cars yet.
Everything has to be custom if you want to go wider.

well i'm not really looking for some extravagant set up I just want a bit more room so I can dump the front and still drive! Im sure an aggressive flare would work, but along the lines of what you just said..... being different is sweet!

 

Probably the best way to go about it is to weld some pieces of metal and repaint the fenders

Not feelin' it. I think the 2GS is already a wide enough car. It makes it look kind of Audiish.
