That vibration - make sure to get your tires Road Force Balanced at a GOOD SHOP!!!!! When I had my factories, I had them road force 3 times before the vibration was gone. I also torque the lugs to 79lbs. When I got the 20 inch chrome, I got them road force twice at a Goodyear shop. Vibration still was there. Went to another place where they knew how to really use the GSP9700, and it got rid of my vibration. Played around with the torque and the factory 76lbs were the smoothest for my rims.

I spent over 150 bucks on balancing in the past 3 months and got screwed by people who didn't know what they were doing.

Good to hear you liking those bushings.

You should put the mileage in your sig. Don't know of anyone else have that high of a mileage (besides high miles )

I'll get to mine eventually. I don't have any vibrations or shake on mine, 145k all stock bushings. I do get a flat spot within 5 min of driving sometimes, then it goes away.
However, my upper control arms need to be replaced

lol i'm on the same boat with you. You're going to need to have an access to a press to do the control arm bushings.

Since Sewell is taking so long to have their shipments out, what about TM Engineering? Has anyone had positive experiences with them w/ the Daizen brushings? They're local here in SoCal and I've already ordered a dash kit from them with lightning quick shipping.

How are these prices compared to Sewell?

sewell's still cheaper even without the 10% discount code. I believe both Sewell and TM both have Sway and Steering Rack Bushings in stock, but not the control arms.

I got my control arms fixed last winter and the ball joints are in good condition. I got my tires balanced and I still get a vibration on the highway. Sometimes its there and sometimes its not. Could that be the bushings?
Please advise!!

they're maintenance items. Lower ball joint usually goes bad at 90k for 98-00 cars on normal driving. A good indicator is to jack up the car, and push up as hard as you can and see if the front wheel moves around (vertical free-play). If there is, change the lower ball joint immediately, if not sooner. People usually change the tie-rods with it because they tear the existing tie-rod rubber boot when removing the lower ball joint. There are many threads about this already, so you can just search it.

Most likely the tires. Make sure they are road force balanced.

The castor arm bushing goes out every 60k. However, you cannot just change out the bushing - you have to change out the entire arm.

The castor arms (both sides) should run you at about $180. Labor is about $150 for installing. This is only good for another 60k, because the factory rubber bushing will be worn @ 60k miles.

Control Arm Bushing is $100, and it replaces every bushing in the front suspension. Labor to install them really depends on where you live. You can find it for around $300-400 in socal, and some other places, for $800-1000. However, if you have experience with a press, then DIY should still cost you about a day of time. Once you've done this, you will never have to deal with it again.
