TTE Lip Removal??????

Default TTE Lip Removal??????

Anyone ever remove a TTE lip? Do you have any advice for me before I attempt to do this????

Man, I didn't think you could remove that thing once you install it. If I ever get rid of mine, I just figured you would sell the entire bumper with the lip installed. I installed mine myself and it is on there really good with the adhesive that came with the lip. It would be interesting to hear if anyone has done that.

The only info I could find for you is a thread we had about 2 years ago...not a whole lotta success back then either.

I thought about heating it up to soften up the adhesive, but felt it was too risky to the front bumper...ended up molding the lip in to make it look more stock.

Thats what I thought! It would be extremely difficult and time consuming to pull that lip off.........

ChrisES......if I decide to attempt to pull it off I'll let you know. Other than that unless someone has a better solution its going to stay with the car.
