Call me sentimental, call me corny, but I look at my GS430 as my buddy more than anything else, and therefore it has to be a dude (I'm one of those fellas who believes men and women can't be friends, unless she's 20 years older and outweighs you by 100 pounds!).
Even though he's just a chunk of metal with an engine, I try not to take it for granted that he always takes me where I need to go, regardless of distance. He doesn't quit on me, he never chickens out on me. When I park him somewhere and step out, people always turn their heads to look at him, and subsequently eyes fall on me afterwards
. When I'm feeling crappy after a long day, all I have to do is wait for a little twerp in his souped up Civic, Integra, or Mustang GT, to pull up next to me at the light signal. It may be childish, but leaving them biting the dust sure makes me feel good!
Reliable and always there, makes you look good and knows how to cheer you up when you need it. Just the way a true pal is supposed to be
