squeeking sound on the driver side
hey guys my 99 gs3 is completely stock...just got 20'' rims...i hear a squeeking sound slowly driving around the parking lot, and the pace of the squeek will get faster as i drive faster...its not all that loud but i notice it...i got my front brakes checked and everything is still cool...so i just want to know what is making that squeeking noise...btw i hear it on the driver's side only...but i can't tell if its the fron't or back or both...
take a look at this thread ...

alright after reading all the ball joint threads, i decided to change both ball joints, and i still have a squeeking sound its so annoying...but at least i have a peace of mind that my car won't collapse...now onto the next subject...does anybody know what is making that squeeking noise on the front driver's side? its a metal against metal sounds the chirps after one rotation of the tire when i drive...brake pads are fine...can it possibly be a wheel bearing problem? sound only comes from the wheel area, suspension is fine... i lifted that end up and i can turn the wheel and still produce that squeeking noise...
