well there are 2 ways to go about doing this

1. you can go out and look for the european GS which hs that stock ( pre 2001 )

2. you can ask bananna GS who I think did his car himself but not sure

Lightbulb Cleared Lights

Joe - Also might want to check with CSHFLW. He was offering his services to clear the orange out for around $200 or so a set. PM him or check his posts over in the GS Classified section. Recall he was looking for a spare set of lights - maybe to start an exchange type of program?

i am gonna do some write up and post some pix over the break, basicly you use a dremel tool, carefully cut around the light to saparate the lense out, the yellow lense is under it, you can cut the yellow lense out, then it's clear.
glue the whole thing back.
I sold 1 set on ebay to Vincent, a clublexus member and another set to someone else, i am not sure if he is a clublexus member or not, but the return on the mod was not high, so I don't want to do this to sell any more. but this mod definitely make your car stand out from other GS, since not many ppl have them. No many ppl know about this I guess.

don't know about the 2001 light, but I think it's the same
you would be one brave person, if you gonna do this on your own light, get an extra set and try it on, it sounds easy, but it's not an easything to do when cutting the light out.

Thumbs up

BananaGS,

Pictures would be great and I think I speak for all club lexus members when I say we would all be very appreciative!

Thanks in advance for the help!

I think after your post, everyone's going to ask how to put the orange in their taillights back 'cause everyone's going to have clears!

eh eh.
