I was at a Lexus Dealership yesterday and i began to play with the Metal "L" on the 2001 GS430 ... asking myself ... hmmm does this come off? Then i come on the boards and i see this question .... skeery

But from my observation, the L is quite attached, and if i can remember correctly, its not just an "L" pasted on, more like how the standard steering wheel has a leather "L" indentation ... well the Metal is just a cap on top of that ... i tink.

Ill hit the dealership tonight and check it out, ill bug the parts dept. about ... "What if i slipped and fell and broke the "L" on the steering wheel, can i replace that?"
