In Europe, the inner tailights are the fog light and the outer tailights are the brake light.
I want to convert the fog light to brake light
Do you have the electrical plan or electrical diagram of your american GS for the rear light
My current mod :

Thank you very much.
Denis.

From what Ive noticed when I got my lights is they are wired completely different from stock no offense that would be a very expensive retro for so little benefit unless you drive in reverse all the time IMO.

Here's the install guide I posted up a few months ago. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...light=led+tail
As for wiring the Inner light to be a fog light. Do you mean you want it to be at full brightness all the time? Or do you want the reverse bulbs to be on all the time? It's not too hard to do either one. Give me some more details, mabye I can help you out.

He wants the inner light to be a break light. So when you press the break the inner lights + break light will lightup (like in the picture). In europe we never use the inner lights. The inner lights are only to be used when its foggy.

Yeah I saw this write up... but I think some guys started to complain about how they couldn't get the liner off the trunk lid because of the emergency handle. I noticed that you have a 2005, which means that you also have the handle and you dealt with it, so it shouldn't be too hard. Thanks.Originally Posted by JeffTsai

It's alright, I guess I'll just use Jeff's write up as guidance. I guess that I just wanted you to reconfirm everything. I'm not all that experienced with DIY mods but I sure want to do things myself. This is my first car so I want to be able to do more of this on my next car. Thanks again.Originally Posted by lexoman562

Rayy, really the hardest part is that inner handle clip piece. All of the other little plastic piece pull out very easily. I just left my inner handle piece removed
Look closely at the inside of it, and you will notice little slots on all 4 sides. The handle itself partially blocks one slot so that one is a little harder. Anyways, just get a flathead screwdriver with a thin/small tip and wedge it in each of those slots while pulling down on the whole clip at the same time. You really have to pull it hard to get it off. It almost feels like it's going to snap in half, but it eventually popped off for me.
