for some strange reason, my ML stereo (no nav) on my GS will occasionally do this... when i get into my car and start it up, my stereo will play really quietly (i left it louder than that when i turned off my car last) and then if i trun the volume **** either way, it'll play at full volume... not only will it do that, it'll forget my preset volume on my steering wheel, and all my fader, balance, bass, trebble and mids settings will all be out of whack...

anybody else come accross this?? what's the fix?

 

Really sounds strange.

You could try and remove teh battery terminal for 15mins, and see if that fixes it.
