I would rather have a 268k well maintained highway driven GS over a 50k street raced poorly maintained GS anyday. Not saying this one was well maintained. $6700? Could be a steal depending on the rest of the car. No doubt most of those miles are highway. Someone with a rep would have received more bids. Pics of the interior would have been very helpful. First time Ebayer with zero feedback and selling a car? Either foolish or a new id. If new ID ,then another concern.

You'll buy it for $6K now and in a year or less you'll spend another $2K - 3K fixing it. I'd rather just find something with less miles on it...Highway or not, the car has been used a lot. Also, it is strange that the car is only shown from one side, god knows whats going on with the other.....

I would have absolutely no problem buying a high miles Toyota/Lexus as long as the rest of the car was in good shape. My '99 GS400 has 193k on it and I would bet (actually I know) that it runs as well as most of the cars on this board. It idles perfect and the only 2 parts that I've replaced in the last 10k miles were a pedal position sensor ($265) and the idler pully (worn bearing-$60). I would still pass on that one because of the lack of pictures, but the miles probably aren't that big of a deal.

well the owner just sent me about 15 photos. Car is in fantastic shape. 1 owner.
Except for a couple rock chips there aren't even any door dings. Once i see the maintainence records i will make my decision.
If i can talk him down I might pull the trigger.
Even if i have to replace a bushing or gasket here and there thats no biggie. I love working on my cars. Makes them more alive somehow

i think this car is very beautiful. does not look like it was abused(but u can't be sure)
i would not feel comfortable buying it though.
probably cos am in canada and 268k miles i think is over 430,000km
when people over here see a car approaching 200k, they start calling it "too many"
