I am going to dyno my gs400 next weekend along with some Neloc members to get some numbers. I am hoping some SRT intake guys show up so we can compare results. I will post up the results once completed.. i think I am getting 450 hp to the ground right now

My very last dyno on my GS was 406 RWHP. It was unrealistic to drive on the street though as I was chewing through belts left and right with that pulley (do not recall which now-years ago). In fact I tossed that pulley not to long ago cleaning the garage. I believe I left it around 370-380 RWHP. This has been some time now so I may be off a few hp here or there-but 400RWHP is doable with a supercharger-just tough. But if you went with the TC/3.76 gears/SRT/and headers you will have a car that will wax/stay with most if not all supercharged GS's from the line to about 40-50 or so unless that car shares the same mods. Past that the s/c GS will scream by.

I don't think so! It's more like 10 lbs of boost through a s/c. I can't see people hype up about the intake.

I don't think anyone has ever reached that figure and to reach 400whp you would need extensive mods without any type of forced induction. I'm thinking 4.7 swap with cams and every bolt on. That still isn't a guarantee.

I saw a 5.7L in a new version of the Tundra - maybe someone can jam one of those into a GS? Regular gas, 381HP/401 fLB torque.

I would pass on the Benz, the trouble will not be worth the performance. If the car is in the shop all the time you will only be driving a loaner anyway. Buy the GS and do all the engine bolt-ons and toss a 50-75 shot on it. You will have a low 13 second maybe even high 12 second 4 door luxury cruiser that looks sexy and is reliable. Just my opinion though.....

cop a gs300 do a 2jz-NA t mod, 2jz are infamous for reliablity if u know ur supras. i've believe many people on supra forums have reach close to the 400whp range with 2jz ge stock internals anything after that, its a must for a nice set of internals =) if i had the space a garage to do this i woulda started workin on my boost already! need power? more fuel..... more air! S/c or turbo =)
or just cop a 2jz-gte prep it in the garage get my parts ready and just dump it all under the hood only if i had a damn garage!!
