Just to theow another one into the mix, I have 19x8 +35 with 245/35 all the way around. Fronts are perfect, the rears could come out towards the fender few more mm's.

I have 19X8.5 front with +37 offset and 19X10 rear with +43 offset. They flush up real nice.

Along with offset numbers, people's definition of "flush" varies, too.

Some people prefer a little "poke," where the wheels stick out a little.

Here's my definition of flush (for comparison's sake):

I wonder if it's safe to use spacer for the rear. My is 18.8x5+42 with 245/40 all around.

SoCAL man that is very hott.. I have a Turbo MR2 with wheels flush like that. I really want to get something agressive for the Lex also, don't want to spend an arm and a leg. I was thinking about Axxis wheels, they have a 5 star design and the get wide right by the dish part. I've seen a few guys w/ that style wheel on there. What do you guys think? I want something thats good cheap and looks hott.. I know hard combo..lol

SoCal post some more pics of your ride.. Whats your offset on those?

By the way thanks for all the posts, keep posting the wheel sizes, offset and tire size!!

There are several GS members using spacers. I haven't made a decision yet to go that route because of my experience in the VW bug world and spacers. With bugs, spacers aren't a good way to go. For the GS though, there are quality spacers available and this summer just might see mine wearing a pair on the rear. I wish my wheels would been available in +32 for the rear.

guys... will a 19x9 +30 front/19x10 +30 rear work on a 2gs with just a fender roll and 1-finger gap?

and what would be the best tire size? i'm hoping for a bit of stretch, but nothing crazy.
