What is the cost of the HID FOGS? That might be something I'd consider.

I paid around $250 or so for mine (used Phillips kit), but I have seen new sets for just under $200. Shop around or keep your eye on the CL classified section.

Those HID kits are getting crazy cheap these days. I've seen kits sell for around $130-150 range on ebay. The last kit I bought for my car was $140 shipped from ebay and it's been working great so far.

Jeff, which kit did you buy? I would like to retrofit my fog to HID but leave them yellow. So I guess I would go with the 4300K kit. Can you give a link to which ones to buy?

I'm with TexasGS, please post the ebay link as I'd like to upgrade to the 4300K kit as well. . .

I have stock HID's and I replaced my oem fog bulbs with the cool blue bulbs. The cool blue bulbs in the foglight over-power the stock HID's. I have had nothing but compliments on my set up.

Just get Phillips Vision Plus 9006(aka HB4) bulbs. They are far cheaper than HIDs and 50% brighter than stock fog lights. Since they are fogs and the housing makes all lights yellow anyway, go for the cheaper alternative. I just changed to the Phillips and they are great!

I got the middle option on the webpage I just posted.

The Crystalvision is just normal halogen with blue colored glass and is less bright than normal bulbs!Steer clear of those.Vision Plus is Phillips' brightest bulb in their lineup.

remember you have to get the 9006/HB4 version of the Vison Plus.

Any chance of pics of comparison from stock to upgrade? I'll most likely look into these after I try the Sylvania ULTRA bulbs I received for Christmas. . .
