if its FRP, it only needs to be set outside in the sun and it will eventually settle back to normal shape... I know my Lip Kit was the same way..

it's alright, bumper is urethane.. just leave it in the sun for a bit. It will go back to the original shape.

"Lois, it could be anything! I mean, it's a mystery box! Who knows, it could be a boat and you know how long we've wanted a boat for!"

~Family Guy.

Congrats on the bumper, should look good.

I have to ask? Why would a big vendor and dealer like Carson fold up a bumper when shipping. I don't care if its poly. why on earth would you do that? To save on shipping? didn't have a bigger box lying around? Could go buy a bigger box instead of folding a bumper? I'm sorry this is just my opinion but I wouldn't accept buying a bumper from a huge car dealer and getting it delivered in that fashion to my home, it looks like they cut corners to me. I know they are hard to come by and all but thats not acceptable in my book. What if it doesn't warp back to its original shape? than what? Before you paint this thing take this up with them cuz once you paint or primer it you might be stuck with it ................ This is just my opinion.

That is why I was wondering if anyone else purshased one of these during the GB. I just figured it would form into its normal shape once out of the box. I will will put it out in the sun and see what happens. It is like 70 here today. I mean, I don't think I would have folded it but I figured they had done this before and there would be no problems. It looks like it was in plastic from the factory that way. I don't think Carson's folded it up. I will try and give them a call it this.

Bill, I thought you were saving for the big brakes!

Still though, nice buy and hopefully it goes back to the original shape

On another note, it's been a while since the last meet...we should plan one this week because it's going to be in the 70's or through the weekend.

Yea, I did buy a set of Brembo GT calipers. I am now looking for the rotors and brackets. But I only paid $250 for the bumper so I could not pass it up. I am pretty booked up through X-mas but if you can pull something together I will try to be there.
