Default I need an need advice/help :(

Hi guys,

I finally decided to buy new wheels. I've had my car for two years and I think it's time to do some upgrades. My problem is this. I know nothing about wheel sizes, I see the numbers posted everywhere but I do not know the meaning.... So, if some one could help me understand what those numbers are, I'd be very happy

My car (don't mind the purple fogs, they suppose to be bluish, not sure why they came out looking purple)

And the last question.. How much would it cost to get decent but not very expensive rims w/ tires ?

Thanks in advance

Get in touch with D2 Autosport, they are a sponsor on this forum. They will walk you through your selection and provide you with everything you need to know. They also have great prices, you can't go wrong with them At least give them a chance and call them, you will be impressed

I think you should try searching in the GS forums and also wheels/tires/brakes forums for terms such as offset, disk, diameter, fitment, and widths.

If you need any help customizing your specs, PM D2 or High Society in the vendor sections. Also looking for members rides and if you like their wheel fitment, won't hurt to PM them for more information.

This question is impossible to answer, at least not without giving us a price budget. For all we know, inexpensive to you could mean $1000 or $5000.

You can feel free to give me a call and I'll go over the basics with you. In all honesty you do not have to be a expert on 100% of the technical aspects of fitment (that's out job), you can just let me know what you want to spend, and what type of look your going for (size, finish, style).

Its pretty simple after that point. As someone else noted "a good price" is way too broad, in my experience 2500-3k for 20" staggered wheels / tires is a very good price while the custom stuff is going to carry you into the 3-5k range.

We have a few specials going right now you can click the links in my sig for more details.
