There're way more engine-mod'ed SC300's than SC400's, so I guess it's the inline-6 engine.

What about "Buy a GS & DRIVE IT TO DEATH"? Since I got my GS, I didn't have the motivation to mod it yet but sure put a lot of miles on it. I think I'm catching the mod-bug though.

Unlimited money?

I would buy a GS400/430. Drop in a 4.7L bottom end with fully built pistons, rods, and completely rebuilt head with new valves/springs. After that I would have a supercharger and twin turbo on the engine. Yes it's going to be very tough(very co$tly) but money is not an issue here. As for tranny options, either swap in a supra 6 speed...or spend about 30g's(maybe more) for someone to install a BMW SMG3 7 speed transmission in. It will be a nightmare for the installer since they will have to deal with both mounting issues and electrical control issues. I'm sure someone can figure it all out if I throw 30g's their way. After that, I would take the car in for a suspension analysis. Basically have a race car engineers build and design suspension braces here and there. Tune certain coilovers to the needed rebound/valve pressures. Afterwards I'll focus on the body kit, rims, lighting, interior, etc. This would be an all out full blown race/show car that costs about $150k or somewhere around there

But.....for that money spent, I would rather get a slightly used Lamborghini Gallardo for $120k. Throw some rims and twin turbo that thing too. Should be close to $150k when done with at the end.

I'm considering selling my GS4 after school and getting a GS3 and turbo...but I have too sentimentally attached to my GS4 now.
