For a long time after buying my car I couldn't figure what people were staring at. For some reason, these cars really stand out. Couple that with the fact that there aren't many of them around here.
I had to give a guy driving a ES300 a lesson in V8 power the other day. He had a nice ES, (except for the fart can), dark tint, lowered etc. He was messing with me on the highway. Normally, I just ignore these clowns, but he cut me off on a freeway interchange and then waited for me. We came to a straight strech with no traffic. It didn't take much, and I think he now knows what the "430" stands for.

 

Again, another happy Lexus GS owner to the club. But damn, you really got me good at first with that message. I was, "Damn What Did We Do?"

GOSH!!! It feels so releaving to know that there are other people on this planet that have the same " feelings " and get the same reactions from others as I do when I roll up in my 99 GS 400. Everytime I pass by my car on my way to my girl's car, I say with a smirk,; " Damn, that car is HOT! Who's car is that? OH, YEAH! That's MY CAR!!!" ..... VERBATUM. HA HA HA. This is my first car ever. I'm 25, and ever since it came out when I was in High School, I've told everyone that this was the one car I would one day own. I live in CT and I went to Queens NY on train to buy this car. Funny thing was I had to go with my Pop to get it cuz I still didn't have my license. I would have to say that it was one of the happiest days of my life. I've driven other people's cars.... and ALL of you are correct. I AM SUCH A SNOB!!! And proud to say so. In my mind, I'm the COOLEST person alive when I'm in my LEX with the windows down, system all the way up, bass bumppin', leaning back on my seat with one hand on the wheel.... just CHILLIN'!!! Its the greatest feeling.... after sex; of course. SEX and a LEX; that's all a young man needs to live happy!

 

Man...had be going...LOL...join the club. I do to same thing...not intentinally. Just that my GS is soooo nice. Other cars seem nice, but after getting back in my GS I'm WOW'd by how tight (like new) my car looks and drives and how Lexus keeps operation simple.

 

Thought I was the only one too. My snob level just doubled a few months back. I picked up an LX470 and then threw some new shoes on 2 months later. So, no matter what I drive, The GS400 or the LX470, I'm thinking "D@mn I have the best ride on the road right now!"

No, not saying that. I see BMW's, MB's, Rovers, etc all over my neighborhood. Most aren't moded though, and the ones that are usually have cheap "bling-bling" wheels. You no likey? We have the same exact cars.
