I have searched and read many of these posts heres my question. How likey is it that the whole throttle body assembly needs replacing? I have the same symtoms as everyone esle here so I figured it would either be a TPS, PPS, or maybe need throttle body cleaning- but the whole assembly seems ridiculous.

Scottsdale dealer is claiming the Bushings, cable, and whole assembly are worn causing the codes & sensors to improperly malfunction.

Is there anyway to narrow down the problem or see which problem preceeds what..... they already used "sales techiniques" the minute they got on the phone by beating me up about 80K miles and no service record on file which pissed me off. I work sales so don't appreciate the beat me up give me hope technique.
