oh well im sorry to hear that, but while we are on the topic let me tell you my story.

for the last past 2 months for some weird reason my alarm been going off, at lease once or twice a week. so last monday i was going to sell my car, but the buyer didnt want my pioneer tv with the car he wanted all factory. so i called on of my freinds, he his also a gs owner and that works for lexus, and told him my situation, i told him i will sell my tv to him for 500 and he will just have to give me his stock radio because he been wanted it.
that was monday the 8th at 9:45 pm, he told me he will me a call back later, later never came at 3:00 am my alarm went off like every other nigth, but this time the key couldnt stop the alarm when i went out side ,my window was on the floor in whole not broken or shadered ,my tv gone so the next day i gave him a call and asked him if he still wanted the tv he asked me if i still had it.

1 my window was drilled from the bottom 10 holes.

2 you work for lexus.

3 later never came around.

4 when i called you back you ask me if i still have it.

5 every one that knows me, know i have a sub and amp, i just took it out you are the only one that knows about it. didnt even look in the trunk.

know is that a coinsidense or its him.

but im like **** it realy

i have a compustar 2-way with pager, but it's range is reduced to zero when you're parked in the bottom of a 5 level parkade

i've been going around to the local glass shops and they all tell me those polishing compounds are meant for long-term oxidation or hazing, not for scratches... sigh.

sorry to hear about your misfortunes... some people are real low-lifes you should have broken ur window urself the 2nd time around so you could have gotten it replaced since ur insurance company didnt want to do the right thing and fix it in the 1st place to them

i guess i'm too honest to do that...

to add insult to injury, the parkade had "24 hour surveillance"... but when i asked about it afterwards, all it was was an unmonitored black and white tv camera hooked up to a generic vcr that records on an 8 hour cycle... and no one changed the tape so the time frame when my car was hit was erased

First off sorry for your situation. Second, That is complete b.s. It might be time to change insurance companies. If those scratches weren't there before, they need to replace the glass. I'm also suprised that your body shop can't help u out with that.

it's difficult to change insurance companies where i live because it's government-run.... there are a few private insurers but they will not cover me because the car is so heavily modified

latest pics at the bodyshop (week 2.5 and counting):

i decided to do other work as well at the same time... the last bodyshop i went to didn't do the greatest job so i may as well do it now.
