Quote: ....CHUCK yes part numbers are a good thing also have you seen the 40 series tires ?? are they much larger heavier than the stocks ? we need to get together to go bashing sometime !!!
shawn-
my friends have 40s. they are plenty wide(almost too wide), but what I don't like is that they have slimer sidewalls and I like a tire with some sidewall give for offroad. . the jammin truggy tires and rims are considered t-maxx size and are sweet. also, you want the stiffer tire foams. ofna just came out w/new ones I'm going to try. here's the part #s....

81101 Ofna Racing 1/8 Truggy InsertsOrange (firm) $7.95 $15.90

80009 TIRES, BRICK PIN, T-MAXX PAIR $25.56 $51.12

86104 17mm MONSTER DISH, 28mm OFFSET, 4PACK WHITE $17.56 $17.56

Total: $84.58

nice. I like the paint job. good to take a pic when they are fresh because after one run mine always looks toasted. about my new Jammin truggy, I just finished breaking it in so I have not had it at the track yet, but the single speed is no prob. that picco sounds real powerfull.

I forgot to tell you, you need to get these too when you change wheels.

no, that's not a hellfire, it a Jammin CRT Pro Kit truggy.
sorry, you're right, you don't need those. the sav x has 17mm adapters, but they're not true 17mm hubs like these. these are the right way to do it though, and they look better......

yeah I have a rc track just down the road.there's a club that races there every few weeks, so me and a few buds race when they come. what sucks is this was the last race because the county is going to demo the track for a parking lot.

I've haven't seen a Ofna Mutilator in person, but they seem pretty nice. I'm sure you noticed it has a .32 engine. It's based on a Ofna buggy. My friend just put the same force .32 motor in his hellfire, but it's not broke in yet. I'll let you know how it runs.

I'd still recommend a Jammin truggy, think of it this way. Ofna=Toyota. Jammin=Lexus.

I'll be waiting for teh new wheel pics.
