Wow, this is funny, I was just thinking about this the other day.

Well, I too like many others have 2 kids (11 & 3) a wife and an X-wife. I know that my wife now says some rude comments at times, expecially when I am talking about changing out something, but most of the time she is pretty cool with it. But the X-Wife now she is always asking me questions about how much things cost to mod and I just shrug my shoulders and tell her that my wife buys them for me...hahahhaha she gets so steamed.

All priorities are set, food on table, Clothing for kids, Child support paid, Car payments paid, house payment made, all applicable things paid each month before I mod. I sacrific things at time, just for myself, like no playing golf each week, and only once a month, no going out for lunches, just come home to eat...stuff like that.

But for the most part, she is happy when I give gifts and then I give myself one big Mod gift to her 5.

My girl likes the car modded but doesnt like the idea of spending money on it. Everytime we ride together and see a nice car, she points out the things she likes about it, she loves my car, but when i told her that i spent over 2k in about a week on mods she got mad. The response i got was " we could have gone on a trip using that money"

 

for my b-day, I bought myself the l-tuned exhaust and a set of rims (purchased months ago)... my gf is buying me tires this saturday. woooooo!

 

It's always her first then the car...I suggest you better come up with something good just for her or she'll use the modding-thing against ya...someday...they never forget.

 

She is fine with the idea of me buying her a CD player and a system to go with that, but when its my car there is better alternatives to how the money should be spent. She likes it, loves driving it, loves being seen in it, but holds it against me when i say that i dont wanna go on trips to the mountains because i just got Teins! Looks like ill have to take her to 6 Flags or something!
