Default Need to lose some weight!

Guys help me out with this one...i need to lose some serious weight from my lexus gs300 but i'm not sure what i can do...everyone keeps telling me to go with a CF hood but i don't like how it looks...so if there is any other ways of shaving some pounds let me know ......thanks

Here's a thread I started on this exact same subject almost three years ago (about a year into owing my GS400) - https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...reduction+list

However, as you get to know your car more and more, you will realize that there is really nothing you can do to significantly reduce the weight of a GS, unless ofcourse you have an unlimited bank account and can afford to do some drastic mods like replacing the fenders, hood, trunk, roof with CF, replacing the seats etc.

Just accept the fact that the GS is a heavy car (for very good reasons - it is a big, safe, luxury car) and enjoy it.

If you really want to lose a lot of weight, lose the GS - very simple answer. Small weight reductions will definitely make the car feel better - aluminum suspension (Tein Flex), forged wheels, BBK, CF hood etc, however the reduction is not hundreds of pounds.

Drivers add weight to the car as well. I lost 10 pounds this year alone
